Back then we were a small Italian company with innovative ideas for making easier Gelato production. This pioneering spirit helped RUBICONE to be one of the first companies to take Italian confectionery tradition and transform it into products for Italian Gelato.Since its birth, RUBICONE immediately conquers Gelato laboratories throughout Italy and Germany: the reason for this growing success lays in “Buon Gusto” of refined recipes, all derived from local pastry tradition as Sicilian Pistachio, Tiramisù, Panna Cotta and Mascarpone.

Starting from the 2000s, RUBICONE set a strong path of international growth thanks to the strategic vision of its Director, Mr Alessandro Cioccolini: Australia, China and Asian countries, Middle east, Europe and USA. RUBICONE is a point of reference at international level for the manufacturing of Italian Gelato and Soft Icecream all over the world.

To align with foreign requirements, the Company is ISO 9001 certified. Every procedure included in the ISO Certification is part of the daily Company’s life, towards the constant improvement.Many products are Halal certificated for exporting in the Arab countries and also we have a lot of products with Kosher certification dedicated to Jewish consumers. Moreover, Rubicone is audited by KPMG.

RUBICONE IS ALWAYS LOOKING FOR INNOVATION AND INVESTS 5% OF ANNUAL TURNOVER IN R&D AS A COMPETITIVE ASSET FOR COMPANY’S GROWTH. R&D Department designs new products, explores food trends, adds new features to old ones and creates customized solutions.

Quality Control department is a team of professionals dedicated to safety of ingredients assigned of testing allproducts and raw materials. They work closely together with Research and Development Department and organize Panel Tests to getfeedback on taste and texture of Gelato. The laboratory ensures that every product leaving the factory has been tested for quality and integrity.
